February 7, 2025, was the big day: 20 lucky winners headed to the MERKUR Arcade in Cologne for a face-to-face encounter with their idol, Florian Hempel. MERKUR Arcade in Cologne to meet their idol Florian Hempel.
To give true darts enthusiasts a memory of a lifetime, MERKUR CASINO brought in the 53rd ranked player in the Order of Merit. Florian didn't just play; he opened up about the realities of being a pro and gave personalized coaching to help the guests sharpen their game.
“My main goal is for everyone to just have a blast,” the 34-year-old pro mentioned right at the start—and he delivered. From 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., the energy was high as darts flew across three electronic machines and one classic steel-tip board.
As the evening wound down, Florian stayed back to chat, snap photos, and sign autographs for the fans.
