Traineeship
An inside look at the Gaming Machine Specialist training process
The path to becoming a Certified Gaming Machine Specialist goes beyond the usual classroom setting and on-the-job experience. We've added a third critical element: our own specialized training workshop.on-the-job training in the branch and theoretical instruction at vocational school – the training to become a Certified Gaming Machine Specialist includes a third key component: our dedicated training workshop.
This workshop provides a calm space away from the fast-paced environment of a live arcade, allowing trainees to practice their technical skills and reinforce the theory they learned in school.
Furthermore, our students spend time at Benkhausen Castle, our dedicated training center, where our internal HR development experts help them polish their skills and prepare for the realities of the job.

In-House Development Training
Since 2010, in partnership with the IHK Academy of East Westphalia, we have offered an internal qualification program for 'Casino Service Specialists (IHK)'.
This year-long journey allows MERKUR Arcade staff to significantly level up their skills. They spend time studying the theory behind business management, marketing, and product knowledge, then immediately apply those lessons in a real-world arcade setting.
