How does Crazy Twins work?

How do I place my bet?

Getting involved is easy: simply place your bet on at least one of the twelve newly introduced betting fields to enter the side game.

These specific side-bet options are clearly marked on the table. They are organized into two color-coded blocks, with each block covering the 'Transversale Simple' bets (divided into groups of six: 1–6, 7–12, 13–18, 19–24, 25–30, and 31–36).

Maximum and minimum stakes

You'll secure a win if the ball lands in one of the twelve Transversale Simple fields that have been electronically selected, provided you've placed a stake on it.

It's not just about the numbers—the color matters too. Once the dealer announces 'no more bets' and the betting window closes, two electronic reels spin to randomly determine both the win multiplier and whether the winning Transversale Simple is blue or yellow.

The process is split: a vertical reel decides the multiplier, while a horizontal reel picks the winning Transversale Simple and its color. The potential payouts are huge, ranging from 35x all the way up to 1,000x your stake.

How Is the Winnings Determined?

A winning result occurs when the roulette ball lands on one of the twelve electronically chosen Transversale Simple fields that you have bet on.

Remember that the electronically picked color (either yellow or blue) must match. After the dealer closes the betting round, the system's dual electronic reels randomly generate the multiplier and the specific winning Transversale Simple in the corresponding color.

The vertical reel sets the multiplier, and the horizontal reel identifies the winning Transversale Simple by color. The multiplier varies from 35x to a maximum of 1,000x.

Special Feature: Coup Null

A 'Coup Null' occurs when a round is declared void. This happens if there's a technical glitch or if the result for either the main game or the side bet can't be clearly determined. In such instances, the dealer announces a Coup Null; no one wins, but players can carry their bets over to the next spin.Coup Null means that the game is invalid. This occurs, for example, if the result in the roulette game or in the side game could not be determined properly. In these cases, Coup Null is announced and the current bets can be carried over to the next game. In a Coup Null, there are no winnings.

“We are thrilled to be the first casino in Germany to introduce Crazy Twins. It offers our guests a completely fresh way to experience American Roulette that they won't find anywhere else,” says Olcay Kaçak, Director of MERKUR Casinos in Saxony-Anhalt. “To ensure the best possible experience, our staff worked closely with the adp MERKUR GmbH development team to fine-tune the game during a testing phase. The excitement is real—just fifteen minutes after we launched, one of our guests already walked away with a significant win.”
